Genetic Diversity Fair:

ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sikkal, Nagapattinam and Agriculture & Farmers welfare department, Nagapattinam jointly organized district level Genetic Diversity Fair at Agriculture College and Research Institute, Kilvelur on 27.04.2023. Dr. Arun Thamburaj, IAS, District Collector headed the program. Mr. J. Akhanda Rao, JDA, Nagapattinam welcomed the gathering. As a special invite Mr. N. Gowthaman, Chairman, Fisheries Development Corporation, Mr. U. Mathivanan, Chairman, TAHDCO and other public representatives were felicitated the program. Farmers Scientists interaction and Exhibition were conducted in this program. Mr. E. Hino Fernando, SMS (Fisheries Extension) explained the Fish Culture Technology to the farmers. Mr. K. Ragu, SMS (Horticulture), Mr. E. Hino Fernando, SMS (Fisheries Extension) and Mr. V. Gnanabharathi, Programme Assistant (Technical) attended exihibition stall duty.
