8th Scientific Advisory Committee meeting was conducted at the KVK, Sikkal, Nagapattinam on 03.03.2021. Dr. G. Sugumar, Vice Chancellor, TNJFU inaugurated the programme.

Incubator distribution to beneficiaries under LEDP- Training on Alternate poultry farming sponsored by NABARD. 150 Nos. of farmers benefited from 5 nos. of villages viz., Pappakovil, Karuvelankadai, Sikkal, Thevur and Kutramporuthan iruppu.
50 nos. of day old Japanese quail chicks were given to each farmer and 4 nos. Mini Japanese quail incubator were given to the active groups
Skill Training on Promoting organic paddy farming practice at Thozhuthoor village, Sirkazhi block during 8.02.2021 to 11.02.2021 with the financial assistance of Indian Institute of Rice Research (IIRR), Hyderabad.
